Gardenia Yellow (Crocin) is also called Crocus Sativus is pure natural water soluble food colorant, it’s extracted from the Gardenia fruit (Gardenia jasminoides Ellis) which mainly contain of crocin and crocetin.

It is a water-soluble pigment with good light and temperature resistance in neutral and weakly alkaline media. It is widely used in food products such as fruit juice, candy, noodles, cakes, and beverages.
